Five Question Friday!

Happy Friday y'all! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!
Here are this weeks questions...

1. Have you ever had a celeb sighting?
yes, Adam Young at our local Walmart and then I seen Britney Spears tour bus at our Applebee's..although I didn't see her tho!

2. What temperature do you keep your house? 71-72 degrees.

3. Do you notice dust at other peoples homes? yes! Dust is the worst, I feel the need to grab a kleenex and wipe down people's end tables, and shelves when I see layers of it. ha! I am constantly dusting but that's also because all of our furniture is black wood so I can not go any longer then a week without getting out the pledge! It's just one of those things I oddly obsesse over..

4. What's the worst job you ever had? United States Postal Service. I seriously cried everyday that I pulled into the parking lot..and tiptoed to my station in hopes that my post master didn't have to know I was there, ha! She was evil, the worst lady I've ever met! It didn't help that I was pregnant at the time either and hormonal.

5. What is your most sentimental possession? my photos, baby books, and scrapbooks. I need to get them into some type of fire safe box..I fear all the time that I'll lose them all in a fire or tornado or something! ha!

"friends."

Never explain yourself. Your friends don't need it and your enemies won't believe it

Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.

Friendship isn't about whom you have known the longest... It's about who came, and never left your side.

It is the friends you can call up at 4 a.m. that matter.

I discovered who were my real friends. I just wished that wasn't the way I had to discover.

..I am sooooo annoyed, upset, and frustrated at the moment. Normally I would never write a blog about this but I need to vent and release ALL my feelings. And I don't want to complain to anyone but my blog.
So, if you don't care to hear about drama, backstabbers, and liars then turn away and go read a more positive blog! ha!

If you're still reading, you might want to take a potty break, grab a beverage, and sit down and enjoy the ride!
I don't even know where to begin..I have a hundred things on my mind and I am so peeved and worked up I'm not sure I can even put this into words that one would understand, so bare with me.

I am so sick of this town we live in, it's a decent size but yet small(25,000) but it's small enough that everyone knows everything about everyone. I'm sure every small town has this but I swear our town just feeds off of drama. It's nuts!
I am soooo thankful I have my own little family now where I don't need to go out and be a bar fly with the rest of this town. I just don't get how people can go out every weekend, down to the bars, let alone parents, mothers to be exact...how can you leave your children home every weekend, especially when you just had a baby a month ago. I see it all. Now, don't get me wrong I believe parents need to get out and do their own thing away from their kids but you know there's other activities out there then bar hoping. It saddens me when I see "friends" of mine wasted and posting embarrassing pictures of themselves and others...what will they say when their kids come across those? If I was a 12 year old and found pictures of my mother wasted, dancing on tables, and being trampy I would think it was okay to do that..seen as though my mother is one of my biggest role models.

I guess I am just upset that in order to hang out with my friends that it has to be downtown..why can't we go out for coffee at Starbucks? Bake cookies with the kids? scrapbook? go shopping? take the kids to the zoo? go to the spa, get our nails done?
I just don't see how you can feel good about yourself spending $30 a night on alcohol, making a fool of yourself, and then having people talk about you..wondering where your children are.
Maybe this is just me that feels this way, am I just a loser?! LOL

Another thing that is bothering me is friends talking about all their other friends, seriously...that is soooooo high school, maybe even juniorhighish! And this is why I like to keep to my family. I just don't have the time for drama, I don't understand why people like to stir things up. It's hard to be friends with someone that is full of drama and drag me into theirs. Now, I love being a friend and listening when a friend needs me but when you're talking constantly about your baby daddy and how he's a loser, he don't see his kids, yada yada yada...well maybe you should move on.
I consider myself a semi classy woman, I don't want to be associated with someone that needs numerous DNA tests to see who the father of their child is. That's just GROSS. I want to be friends with someone who is strong, confident, and can be themselves. I don't want a friend that has to follow and make decisions based on what everyone else is doing, I just can't get along with someone like that.

It's sad to say that I don't have many true friends, they have all hurt me in some way or another..and I have done nothing but be a true friend to them!
I am a VERY down to earth, easy to get along with person! :o)

Sorry about all this rambling...I could just keep going but I need to get my girls fed, supper should be ready! :o)

Good for you if you've sat through this entire post and read it!

Wishful Wednesday

This weeks topic:

'I wish' .... I could win the lottery REAL soon, and I would hope to _______.

**The real question is would you
1.) quit your job/career
2.) continue working

I wish....I could win the lottery real soon, and I would hope to...pay off our debt! We have got ourselves into a bit of debt within the last 2 years, nothing major but enough to hold us back from large purchases. It's sad to admit that money makes a person happier but I will say there are other things and people that make me much more happy!
I'm a stay at home mommy currently but to be honest, having trillions of dollars wouldn't keep me from going back to work, something I enjoy that is!
But right now, I want to be a stay at home mommy, I want to be the one raising my children but also at the same time I want to have a career...so, Lord give me the winning numbers and make all my dreams come true! :o)
Kidding, well kind of...we will have to wait and see what his plan is for us.

Getting to know YOU!

Oops! I totally have been slacking on "getting to know you Sundays." How could I...I LOVE this one!

The questions..

1. What's your favorite Easter candy?
Reese's peanut butter cup eggs.

2. Who do you think is cleaner..men or women? Overall I'd say women, which seems so obvious for most but I've seen it from all aspects!

3. Which do you prefer..wordy blog posts or ones with pictures?
If the blog is entertaining enough and can hold my attention I do enjoy reading those but my favorites are ones w. pictures and short simple captions.

4. Were you popular in highschool? yes. I was the type that was friends with everyone, however there was a lot of drama in our small town that led to losing friends and re gaining new ones.

5. What's your bra size? I just went to VS and got sized....WOW! I was def. wearing the wrong size bra's...LOL. How were my ta-ta's even holding up?! Pretty sure they weren't! bahaha!

6. How many states have you lived in? Just Minnesota.

7. What's one blog you read every day? ummmmmmm. I don't think I read a particular one everyday, I just read the updated ones I see in my dashboard.

8. Peanut butter or Nutella? with breastfeeding peanut butter has become one of my favorite foods, I literally just eat it w. a spoon from the container...mmmmm...nummy!

Our day at the Children's Museum..

..Our girls weren't feeling too hot on Saturday before we were to head to the museum..but we've had this planned for a month and it's hard to have an open weekend, so I asked Taylor if she just wanted to stay home to rest or if she thought she'd be okay to go..and she was, she did good, and they had a lot of fun up there!
I love that place! I wish we had something like that a bit closer...everything went well that day until....we lost Piper. OMG! I had put her down so I could get into my purse, JJ was doing something with Taylor..I turned around and she was GONE! No where to be seen...I panicked, felt sick, but had no time to puke..ha...I was on a mission...my 1 1/2 year old was wondering around with only God knows who..child molesters, kidnappers who were hanging around at the museum waiting to snatch a girl like Piper, a girl that wonders from her parents...gosh, those thoughts were just swarming my head...about 40 seconds later we found her, just sitting, on a wheel chair that is...pahahaha! I don't believe in those leash back packs but after that incident I now know not to judge parents that do have them! ha!

Love will keep us together
