Happy Friday!! I don't realize how fast my week goes until I post my Friday blog...I feel like I JUST posted a Five Question Friday!
I was looking forward to relaxing this weekend but there will be none of that..we have a jammed packed weekend! :/

1. If you could, would you go back to high school?
Hmmmm...not really but there are a few things I'd like to change...like walking in my graduation ceremony, I didn't do because I kind of felt "ashamed" for being 8 mos. pregnant...IDK...now looking back, what the hell..who cares...I graduated on time! Who cares what people thought!
Also, I didn't go to prom...well because of course..I was pregnant and that would have looked odd...but whatever...having Taylor was the BEST blessing ever regardless of the timing! :o)

2. If a genie appeared and granted you two wishes, what would they be? (And, no saying "more wishes".) I don't think I'm suppose to speak my wishes?! :P
I'm superstitious like that! ;)

3. What kids show do you secretly like? I enjoy watching the Disney Channel with Taylor..heck, that's usually what we watch for our Friday night movie nights as a family..LOL...even JJ enjoys some Hannah Montana!

4. What is your beverage of choice? water. It's an addiction. I never really cared for it before, I'd have to flavor my water..but now that's really all I can drink..everything else is too sugary.

5. What is something that you would change about yourself (or are working to change in yourself)? I need to lose weight, STAT! I have lost 2.5 lbs. within the last 5 days...yipppeee, it's a start!

10 things I love Thursdays..

...ughhh. I'm not even in the mood to do this post BUT since I've skipped out on the last 2 Thursday's I figured I'd better...well because I love this one! :P
I'm just FRUSTURATED...someone hacked into my facebook account and I can't figure out how to get it straightened out so I think I just need to delete it and start over! :(

The Circus

..We went to the little circus they had in our town tonight. It was probably the last time I will ever go to a circus again! Will you believe me if I told you I started crying?! hahaha. OMG! I'd like to blame it all on my hormones...seriously I mean what else could trigger the waterworks?! Alright so let me tell you what happened....alright, first...STOP LAUGHING! :P

So...it all started with the lions...they let them out of their cages and immediately started whipping them, ughhhh..I know that's part of training them...but that's cruel..you could tell the lions were just sooooo tired and aggravated, they're NOT meant to be locked up and performing like that, they were treating them like robots. Gosh, I feel like I'm part of PETA. OH NO! I'm one of those people! :/

No but really....I can't believe I'm going to admit this...LMAO...but I was sitting there and literally praying to God that they should ban animals in a circus.. well..like the big animals that need to be in the wild... and not with "carnies."
It's really not fair and I felt so guilty giving my money to those awful people to watch them "abuse" those animals. :(

Then came the elephants...that was even more sad. We were in the front row up close..and I just stared into their eyes...they looked soooo sad...I felt like I needed to save them!

I know you are ALL thinking I am some crazy emotional wreck, which maybe I am and it's not like me to be such an animal person but recently I have really turned into one...like I want to rescue and save them all!

Alright, so enough with the craziness, I'll stop scaring you..I really am a normal person! pahaha!

Taylor sat still and barely spoke a word...she was just in awwwwwwweeeeee the entire show!
Piper, this was the worst she's EVER been! I always brag her up about how good she is and well behaved, nope not tonight! She was sooooo tired and hungry and screamed the majority of the time!


We were NOT allowed to take pictures at this event...if we wanted to we could purchase a $15 disposable camera from them! ha, whatever!
So, I decided to take a couple pix with my own camera!

Wednesday Weigh In..

...I'm going to try and write this post as best as I can. I can barely even hear myself think. JJ took a half day from work, came home and started watching "Avatar"...there's a lot of shooting, airplanes going on...LOL. It's extremely LOUD!!! :/

ANYWAYS...so I got to thinking..about this whole diet thing that I keep telling myself that I'll start, then hold off and say I'll start tomorrow instead and the cycle just continues and I have nothing to show!
Well, I thought maybe it would be beneficial to kind of write blogs about my progress, my eating habits, and my exercising routines. It would sure give me a lot more motivation then what I'm going off of currently!

I wish I was brave enough to post my actual weight that way I can let it all out there and it would probably motivate me a lot more..but I'm really ashamed with that at the moment. Maybe when I get to my goal weight I will let y'all know! ha! Probably not...LOL.

So...since it's Wednesday..I think I'll make a post every Wednesday..like Wednesday weigh in..or something along those lines and let y'all know my progress and what I've been doing OR not doing! :/

Let me just admit...I want to be honest with this whole journey...so I will tell you that I did not start off to a good start today!
For breakfast I had Honey Nut Cheerios, which are healthy BUT...for lunch I had McDonald's...yuck, well yumm..I had chicken nuggets and a mocha frappe. FATTENING!

My goal is to lose 50+ lbs. by December 1st.

I can't believe I am able to do this blog post in COMPLETE silence..no kids, no TV, just the wind and the birds! This is sooooo peaceful!!! ha!

If you could star in any movie genre..what would it be..romance..horror..comedy..suspense or action? Ummmm...I'm totally a romance kind of girl...all the way!

2. Do you recycle? I plead the fifth. :/ Okay, honestly...our area doesn't recycle...seriously..but I suppose we could recycle and just haul our stuff down to the recycling plant?! We're really trying to teach our girls how to be "green" and efficient but we're not off to a good start!



3. Have you ever been to a strip club? No. GROSS. It just seems soooo dirty and full of things I would NOT want to catch! :/ UCK.


4. Do you have a nickname? Tortalini(thats what JJ calls me), Court, CJ, Chuggs, and Corky.


5. What's a name you can't stand to be called? Any profanity and vulgar language...just in general. I think the "C" word is the worst thing to be called! :/

6. What are your Summer staples? sundresses. big sunglasses. bronzer. sandals. sprunch spray.


7. What was the last thing you bought for yourself? I went to a few garage sales on Friday...and bought a bunch of knick knacks and decor..but that's for the house not necessarily for me...so I guess Wednesday I bought myself a few summer outfits....

8. Are you happy with your boob size? Sometimes they make me feel sexy but then sometimes when I want to wear a cute baby tee or something fitted I HATE them! :(
My boobs have literally tripled in size since I became pregnant with Taylor...how do I make them go down?! LOL

Five Question Friday!

Happy Friday! Yipppeeeee! I gotta make this quick as I'm heading out to the "Season opener" of garage sales! ha! I get soooo excited, I absolutely love garage saling..I don't really buy used clothes b/c I am EXTREMELY picky with what I put on my girls...hence the fact that both JJ and I received the best dress award our senior year in high school! LOL. Anyways, but I LOVE coming across fun little knick knacks and furniture...especially from elderly people..hehe...but they always have the cutest things..all the antique stuff...ahhhhh, gosh am I really going on about garage sales in my Friday post?! Okay, sorry..you see, this is how excited I get! :P

1. What was the first car you owned? 2001 Mercury Sable.


2. What song are you embarrassed to know the lyrics to? Ummmm..I'm not one to really get embarrassed because I know lyrics to a song, music is music! :P


3. Have you ever had stitches? Yessssssiiirrrrrrr! 4x in my fingers...yeah, I know...I should lose all privileges to cutting, and cooking! And then I've had stitches in my eyebrow.


4. What was your first job? McDonald's. Around here EVERYONE worked at McDonald's...but ours was sooooo cute, we have a 50's Rock N Roll McDonald's..so when they first opened the attire was white button up shirts with poodle skirts...they were sooooo cute, I loved my uniform! BUT then after a few months they realized it wasn't appropriate..just because of all the yucky grease it was ruining the outfits, yada yada yada...:P


5. Who is your favorite Sesame Street character? Elmo! Piper and I watch a lot of Elmo videos...it helps when you're having a hectic day...that little guy can cheer anyone up! ;)

STRESSED.

..I've been pouting and complaining all week. It has been a week from HELL. Possibly the worst I've experienced. :(

Monday..OHMYGOSH! Okay, let me start off by saying there's this girl in Taylor's kindergarten class that has a problem with stealing Taylor's things...well why does Taylor bring her things to school you might ask? Well because every Friday is Show N Tell day so she gets to bring one item to school to talk about. Well last Friday she brought her Zhu Zhu pet...of course every kid that doesn't have one wants one!
I hate to be sooo judgmental but this little girl in Taylor's class, the thief..sorry that sounds harsh but it's true..seems not so lucky to have all the latest items or the cutest clothes so she takes it from others. This is not the first time, not the second, nor the third, no, not even the forth time BUT the fifth time she has stolen something from Taylor! I am getting so FED UP! I LOVE Taylor's teacher, I really do! She is the nicest most kind lady EVER but even tho I call and explain to her what's going on nothing seems to get done about the situation. I finally had it and asked her for this girls parents phone number...I need to call and tell them how I really feel, I hate that it got to this level...but a 5 year old should not be stealing like this, so ANYWAYS...on Monday Taylor decided that instead of getting off at her bus stop she was going to get off at this girls bus stop and go to her house so she could get all her stuff back, which I don't blame Taylor..I would want to do the same! BUT this girl lives in this trailer court next to us..not the safest place for a child to be roaming around alone...and I had no idea out of 100 and some trailers which one Taylor was at! Finally..she came home and let me just say she will NEVER do that again...I think I scared her enough! :P

Well...that's not the end of my Monday....that evening I was cooking supper and needed to run out to the garage to get a can of corn. Taylor was upstairs taking a nap, Piper was downstairs coloring and watching her movie...so I go out to the garage, yada yada yada..go to come back inside.. open the door and it's LOCKED. PANIC! Little Piper locked it! UGHHHHH. My stove is on, Taylor is upstairs..Piper is alone...OMG, I start bawling, run to the front of the house and start throwing rocks at Taylor's bedroom window...man, I was just whipping them HARD, that girl would not wake up! grrrrrrrrrr! I yelled to Piper.."go tell sissy to wake up and come downstairs." And so Miss Piper did..I watched her walk up the stairs..then she comes back down and yells out the window..."sissy sleeping!" "Yes, Piper, I know..but tell sissy mommmy needs her to open the door."
Ughhhhhhhhhh. Anyways, long story short, I had to break the window to get inside. :(

AND THEN...later on that evening Taylor decided that she needed to step outside and get a little bit of fresh air before she needed to go to bed...IDK, she insisted! Well..our cat snuck out...he doesn't have any claws..he's an indoor cat and would be killed immediately out in the wild! :/
I didn't even go out looking for him right away, I just couldn't believe this was all happening to me, let alone all in the same day. I kept my cool..collected my thoughts and went outside to search for him....finally after about 20 mins. he was sitting by the door...smart cat! And what a relief!


Sorry for all this rambling, and if you're still reading...I applaud you!

But my week is still crappy...I'm just stressed and feel overwhelmed with trying to please everyone and make everyone happy and it's just not working. I've got people upset with me because I can't be at their beckon call, here I thought I was super mom..able to accomplish sooo much...but I finally broke.
I need to get away.....for my own sanity! HELP!

Top 2 Tuesday

Oh goodness! I could think of hundreds of things normally but now that I HAVE to, well for this post..it's tough! Hmmmmm...well now that the weather is nice and summer is approaching FAST I will give ya a couple items that are a summer must have for me that are under $15.


Bronzer. It makes such a huge difference for your skin and glow! I just don't feel "done" if I don't have on some bronzer.


Sundresses. You will usually find me in a sundress just about everyday of the summer...and Old Navy has such a variety for $15 and under!

Getting to know YOU!

Ahhh..I barely have enough strength to do this survery, seriously!
It's been a long day...I went to bed at 1am to be up at 9am to go do pictures with a friend...so we spent the day trying to get some pictures done of Piper...that didn't work out too well..I had a very tired and hungry little girl. I'm ready for bed....but before I do here's this weeks questions!



1. Mens chests..hairy or hairless? No hair. I think JJ has the sexiest chest...seriously! :o)

2. How often do you run red lights? never.

3. If you could raid any celebrity's closet..whose would you raid? Nicole Richie...hands down! I envy her and her style but I'd have to be half of my weight to fit into them! :/

4. Would you rather have more followers/friends on Facebook, Twitter, or your Blog?
My blog. I know I have a lot of readers but only 24 follwers?! come on!

5. What makes you feel sexy? JJ's button up dress shirts...seriously, I feel like Heidi Klum when I'm wearing one! LMAO. And add a cute pair of lacey pink boy shorts...I feel hot in that! ;)


6. I get excited when...........? I spend money. It's a high for me...it's kind of a huge problem! :/

7. Are you the "outdoorsy" type or more "indoorsy"? Honestly, I'd say it's 50/50...I love camping and being outdoors but I also like to stay in and stay away from the bugs and heat!

8. Would you rather have your dream home or a million dollars? The money. I could get a NICE home for 500,000 and use to rest to spend or save, I guess! ha!

Hard to believe..

WOW! I can not believe I will have a two year old in four months! That just sounds insane! I think I am more excited for her to turn two then when I was when she turned one! I absolutely love and adore Piper at this age..I just LOVE her own little personality she's got, such a princess..so gentle and kind. And it just amazes me that we have full blown conversations with her...3 girls in this house makes for A LOT of talking, bickering, and whining..poor daddy! :O)

Anyways, I've got four months to plan a birthday party. So here is the "concern"..

We did a big party for her one year party, well it was big in the sense that we went all out with decor, food, and everything else..but the guest list was small, sadly quite a few people were unable to make it, which hurt but we got over it..ANYWAYS..I guess if we did have a "big" party for her this time around maybe it would be the chance for the friends and family that didn't show up last time will this time around?! Oh, BTW..when I say having a big party...it's really just a lot of food, fun, games, and an excuse to have a gathering with our loved ones! :o)

So...question..do I have another party for her or do we just keep it simple with us and the grandparents?!
Does it seem tacky to have another family/friends party for her?

For Taylor we just had her one year party her BIG one with family and friends..it was a HUGE turnout..all of our family and friends showed up! Then the rest of the years we just did us and the grandparents..then her 5 year birthday was with her friends and now we'll just continue to do that...well we have a separate day that grandparents come do a little celebration...but I guess what I feel is that..I feel bad that Piper didn't get to experience all her loved ones there with her at her first party..her babybook and scrapbook are lacking important people in her life because they missed her party and I want to make up for that..do you get what I mean, is that weird?! LOL.

Well..any input on this would be greatly appreciated! What do you think I should do?! What are/have you done in previous years with your kids parties?!

Five Question Friday!

Happy Friday y'all!
Hope you have wonderful plans for the weekend..I get to get rid of my kids tonight but then tomorrow I will gain about 10 guys..yayyy for poker parties! NOT! UGH.

Alright so here are the questions this week..enjoy and do it up!


1. What words do you use on your blog/online that you don't use in real life? Ummm..honestly I think I write how I talk in person..I can't think of anything I say on my blogs that I don't in real life.


2. Do you still write checks? We use debit/credit for everything..well we still write checks to pay some of the bills.


3. Who was your favorite President and why? While I was alive?! Well, regardless if it's past or present...I'd say Bill Clinton..I liked him even though I was in, what 4th grade?! :P It just seemed like he had things under control..well besides his marriage! ha!


4. Are you a yeller? yes. I yell a lot. When I'm upset with Taylor not listening and doing something she's not suppose to and she just continues to do it...I tend to raise my voice...I wish she'd listen with my everyday voice, ha!


5. Have you ever dumpster dived? Yes. BUT only Claire's. It's sooo silly..they throw out all their new stuff with tags still on it when they get new shipments in..I have never understood why they don't give it away or donate it OR why the employees don't take it...but they usually have TONS, I mean TONS..boxes full of merchandise...it's awesome! It's been a couple years since I've done it..LOL...but it's fun..like Christmas all over! :O)

House hunting..

..Today we met with our realtor, whom I really like. He's sooo honest in telling us what to look for and what to stay away from..I like that because when I walk into a house I am not checking how new the furnace is or what condition the windows are in!
I'm checking out how my furniture will look and fit! ha! :o)

But it was a bit of a failure. We looked at 5 and I only liked one...I like it a lot but JJ doesn't and there's no way to change his opinion..he likes homes that are no more then 10 years old..which I do too but we can't afford that kind of mortage payment with me going to school and not working.

With the price range we're in it seriously seems like EVERY house we look at is very similar, the whole set up, the size of the bathrooms and bedrooms, etc. I didn't enjoy myself tonight, it was depressing walking into these houses with having to change soooo much, most of the houses had a lot of the light word work..and I hate wood, like cabinets in bedrooms and stuff...ewwwwwwww! It's so 1960's. Which were what year most of the home's we looked at were built in.

Anyways, enough with that! Here's the home that I fell in love with..seriously...I absolutely love it! JJ says I only like it because they have similar taste w. decor as I do..but that's totally NOT it! Check it out for yourselves and tell me that ain't homey!

I love the cape cod style! And the bright cheery yellow w. the blue door.


This looks a lot like my living room..with the mustard yellow walls and red furniture and I love that the house has NO carpet, I hate carpet! So that was a HUGE plus!


The dining room..you can't tell by the picture but that light fixture was GORGEOUS! It is stained glass..it's really neat!


The half bath on the main floor..it's cute, clean, but small.


I LOVE the backyard...fenced in and a lot of space for the girls to play in safely!




It's got a lot of nice landscaping throughout the yard...I love it! Do you?!?

{Blog Party.}

I just came across this Blog Party and I MUST join in..how fun! :o)
It is a great way to meet other women and mothers and also to grow your own blog! I would love to have many more followers and also be able to find new "friends" on here!

So..I'll begin to tell a little bit about myself and the reasons why I blog and how it all got started!

..Ummm, I'll start with the basics..my name is Courtney, most people call me Court. I am a 23 year old mama to two girls...Taylor and Piper. They are true beauty and my biggest accomplishment..I'm not perfect and I don't do many things right but when I look at them I know I did two things perfectly. They are my world.



Alright, so besides being an extremely proud mama...I have been with their daddy for 7 yrs. now, we met in high school but have yet to get married...I know to most of you our situation just sounds weird and many question why we're not married...well, that wasn't entirely important in the beginning..we were young, having to finish high school, then go into the world as teen parents, getting married was something we wanted to put aside and postpone! But now we'd like it to happen SOON, more so I would like it to happen SOON! :P




I am extremely disorganized, it'll take me days to dig up a birth certificate or a title to our cars(this contributes to being a hoarder and saving EVERY piece of paper and mail we receive) BUT I am however an excessive list maker..I have post it's & pieces of paper throughout the house letting me know what I need to get at the store, Taylor's school activities, bills that need to be paid, and everything else a woman needs to accomplish!


Growing up, our family mostly consisted of girls..we have ONE boy in the family...whoafta! But my mom, sisters, and I are REALLY close. I'd be lost without them! My girls have the best Aunties and grandma! For not having a dad growing up we have all turned into strong, confident girls..and a big part of that to my mom for working HARD and giving us all she could. We love you mom!!!
